Repair and Refurbishment

Broken chains, loose stones, and scuffs and scratches are all things that can occur to jewelry over time. While we recommend routine cleaning and inspection for preventative purposes, our repair and refurbishment services will go a step further to remove oils and debris, polish to remove light scratches, and tighten the prongs that hold the most valuable and sometimes sentimental parts of the piece.

Sizing

While we may buy jewelry for the long-term, life changes us. Rings may need to be sized up, down, and back up again over the years. A well-sized ring ensures the safety of the piece and its wearer.

Ring sizing does have limits, but we will help you determine the best course of action that considers the integrity of the piece and the ability to wear and enjoy it for years to come.

Repair

Jewelry is in our official name, but watches are our first love. We are passionate about the crafting, care, and repair of watches, and we offer a wide variety of repairs in-house. We can replace crowns, crystals, movements, hands, clasps, and remove links. If you are not sure what type of repair your watch needs, we are happy to help assess.

Batteries

We have a vast in-stock selection of watch batteries, meaning we can complete most watch battery services quickly and during your visit in store. Some watches require specialty options, so we will ensure the proper type is used for your watch. Three-year and lifetime battery plans are also available. All used batteries are recycled through a sustainable battery recycling program.

We are proud to offer full custom design capabilities in-house. Whether you want to create a brand new design or use existing materials to create something new, we allow active involvement in the design and production process to ensure your piece comes out exactly how you envision. Or, if you are not sure what you want for a design, we have many years of experience in the creation process to help you.

We offer recycling services for precious metals, diamonds, and gemstones. If you do not wish to repurpose your materials, we offer payment or credit towards an in-store purchase.

We offer fully accredited appraisal in store, with or without an appointment. We will appraise the value of your precious metals, diamonds, and gemstones, as well as watches and pearls.

There is no regulation as to who may call themselves an appraiser, and who may write up an appraisal. Many jewelers offer this as a courtesy or service with purchase. However, there are specific accreditation programs which qualify an individual to offer appraisals, particularly ones that insurance companies would not refute if a claim is filed. Our jeweler is accredited by the International School of Gemology as a Registered Gemologist Appraiser. This ensures your appraisal will be accurate and acceptable for insurance needs, if needed. Appraisals are recommended to be completed every two years, and existing customers who return for an updated appraisal will receive an updated copy for a reduced renewal cost.

We offer in-house pearl and bead stringing. This includes creation of new pieces or repair of existing pieces that may need to be restrung.

This trend involves soldering a chain (usually as a bracelet, anklet, or necklace) as a permanently worn piece. You can select from our products or bring your own. You may consider booking a private Saturday appointment time for a custom experience, such as for birthdays, engagement, or bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Complimentary to our customers, we will clean and inspect your jewelry to ensure its structure and longevity. We recommend jewelry to be inspected about once a year.
