Everglow Jewelry embraces its role and ethical responsibility to consider environmental impacts and ethically sourced labor, as well as choosing collaborators who also embody these values when conducting business. In many cases, the least expensive option is not the most ethical. Everglow Jewelry is committed to providing quality, high-end jewelry without compromising these other, equally important obligations.
In addition to relying heavily on alternatives to mined (also called “natural”) diamonds in our products, we focus on using recycled, and upcycled, materials by buying and using existing jewelry’s gold and gems to create our designs, rather than sourcing new materials from the environment. All of our designs use pure, precious metals, such as gold and silver, which are infinitely recyclable, never losing integrity no matter how much they are melted and reused. While some brands keep prices low by plating gold or silver over other lesser materials, this impacts not only the quality and longevity, but its ability to be repurposed. Therefore, Everglow Jewelry chooses to use pure metals and no plating in our designs.

Lab-Grown Diamonds
Identical to their mined counterparts, lab-grown diamonds are carbon atoms arranged in the characteristic diamond crystal structure. They are a true diamond in every way, made of the same materials and exhibiting the same optical and chemical properties. Lab-grown diamonds are used for many products sold on our website.

Moissanite is a laboratory-created diamond simulant, engineered for similarity to diamond, including its brilliance and hardness. Because of this, it is also more affordable, without compromising diamond’s beauty. Moissanite is one of our favorite most used diamond alternatives.

White Sapphire
White sapphire is a great alternative for those who want a natural alternative to diamond. White sapphire is a natural gemstone, but with much less conflict and controversy. Sapphire is similarly durable and can be cut and set very similarly to diamonds.

Reusing and Repurposing
Upcycling involves recycling existing material in a way that the resulting product is of greater value than the original. Gold is infinitely recyclable and can be melted down over and over and never lose integrity. Everglow Jewelry encourages use of existing materials in custom designs where possible. In addition, the materials we buy from our customers is bought with the intention to take old or dated designs and use the material to create modern and beautiful pieces for our inventory.

Store Operations
We make small decisions in our operations to support the mission of sustainability. Considerations range from environmentally-conscious pest control to recycled materials in our building improvements. We are intentional about reducing waste in business operations and recycling any materials as possible. We have designed our retail space with sustainability in mind, from the type of lighting to choosing vendors who also support sustainability efforts.
